A new Insights page reports your downloads, likes, progress and quiz results, with CSV exports of all of it. Alongside it: account settings, a forgotten-password link that actually exists, and a notification when an admin reviews your work.
Search now covers datasets, models, courses, guides and news from a single box. Everything a signed-out visitor can read is also available as JSON, with no key and nothing to sign up for — plus RSS feeds and a sitemap.
Lessons can now end with a quiz you have to pass to finish them, courses issue a shareable certificate when you reach the end, and the learners who took a course can say what it was worth.
Every dataset from the old glitchdata shop now has a page on the hub — and, for 91 of them, a link to the official register, portal or standard where the same data can be had today, free, from the people who publish it.
Datasets and models now have their own pages, cards, file lists and a data viewer, much like Hugging Face — but every file is a link to where its publisher hosts it. glitchdata catalogues, previews and counts; it never keeps a copy.
Paste a Hugging Face ID or address on the New dataset or New model page and glitchdata builds a draft from it — card, licence, tags, key facts and every file as a link back to Hugging Face. Nothing is downloaded.
A new Adopt button adds any live dataset to My Datasets without taking ownership, and the redesigned dashboard brings your datasets, models and courses together — with a Continue button that picks up at your next lesson.
All 72 news posts from the original glitchdata.com, from 2011 to 2026, have moved to the new site with their images, working links between posts, and a new photo viewer for galleries such as OSDC 2011.
