Questions
Will the courses I use today start costing money?
No. Every course, quiz, certificate and guide is free and stays free. Membership buys early access, an ad-free site and a way to support the work — not a key to something that was open yesterday.
What does early access actually mean?
New courses and guides are written, reviewed and scheduled before they launch. Members can read and enrol in them for the 30 days before that date. Nothing is taken away from anybody at the end of it; the material simply becomes public.
Why would I pay for something that is free?
Because the guides and courses cost something to write and keep current, and we would rather be paid by the people who find them useful than by advertisers. Membership turns the ads off for you, which is the honest version of that trade.
What is in Team that is not in Member?
Seats for up to ten people, an organisation on the hub with a shared namespace, reporting on who has finished what, the full catalogue export, and an invoice rather than a card.
How do I cancel?
From Settings, which opens the billing portal at Stripe: change the card, download invoices or cancel there. Cancelling leaves your account, your progress and your certificates exactly as they are.
Do you offer discounts for students or non-profits?
Yes — get in touch and tell us what you are working on. The same goes for anyone who cannot afford a membership and wants one.
